Farewell, Dear Catt

On Monday, June 11, 2012, we said goodbye to our dear friend, Catt Meredith, who passed away from cancer.

Despite a lot of tears, we gave her a good, spirited send-off.

She loved both country music and belly dancing, so that's why some of us are in silks and others in country outfits.

The dance was scheduled to be held at one of her favorite clubs, Casablanca Society Lounge, but due to technical difficulties, we had to move to another club, Lipstic.

DJ Ael was wonderful, playing lots of good country music, as well some belly dance music. The second to the last song he played was Amazing Grace and the finale was God Will Take Care of You by the Village Choir, both dedicated to Catt...as was the entire dance.
